I want to inform you that we have decided to postpone the deployment of the February 2019 release by a week to Feb 16, 2019.
As we went through our final readiness process for the release deployment, our quality assurance team discovered an issue that our engineering team needs to investigate further. While the release is functionally correct, there was an unanticipated change in the metrics of one of our test runs, and our quality assurance team felt that it is important that we get to the root cause before they certify the release as being ready for deployment.
We made this difficult decision to postpone the release because we felt that it was the only way for us to keep our promise to you that Quality is โjob one.โ I understand that this comes at a very late stage and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
We will also push the webinar describing the new features by a week to February 19 and February 21. Those that have already registered for the prior weekโs webinar will be automatically moved to one of these dates.
We will be sending out further communication by close of business on Tuesday next week (February 12th) about our progress.
