Along with 4.19 release the error handling for scheduled tasks was adjusted according to release notes.

If i select to notify on pipeline failure and set the option โ€œDo not start a new execution if one is already activeโ€ then every execution towards an already running task will be considered a failure and report every time the scheduler is triggered. To me it is a false alert since no failure occurs in the pipeline.

Bug or feature?

Hi JKarlsson,

Agreed โ€“ there is a patch in the works that will exclude this case from sending an email notification. Thanks for your patience.

REMINDER: Update of remaining Snaplexes to 4.19 is this weekend.

The SnapLogic November 2019 (4.19) release was deployed and has been GA on production since November 9th, 2019. We provide customers the flexibility to plan and update their Snaplex nodes in a 5 week window, accommodating their organizationโ€™s requirements the best. For the 4.19 release, customers have up until Saturday, December 14, 2019 (9:00 PM PT) to update their Snaplexes, after which SnapLogic will execute a forced update of all Snaplexes to the latest recommended version (currently master-6309 4.19 Patch ). Snaplexes already on 4.19 GA master-6256 will not be updated.

The steps to apply this patch are available in our documentation:

  1. As an Org admin, log in to the SnapLogic Manager.
  2. Navigate to the Snaplex list in the Shared Project.
  3. Select a Snaplex and open the Update panel.
  4. In the Update panel, select the latest recommended patch from the Version drop-down, then click Update.
  5. Repeat the above procedure for each Snaplex you want to update.

Please contact us directly if you have questions about this update at support@snaplogic.com.

Thank you!
