About the Staging Area category

This restricted category is to be used for staging content to be published later.

If you want to create a topic and schedule it to be published at a later date:

• Create a new topic and publish it to this private category
• Click the admin “wrench” icon next to the first post of the topic
• Select “Set Topic Timer…”
• Choose the publish time and select the category you would like it to appear in

Why a separate category? So it doesn’t get confused with Community assets and allows for saving a draft topic before the author is ready for it to go live.
