Can the “scrub_version” field be used reliably to compare pipelines across snaplogic environments? I am using the Snaplogic Read snap with asset type of Pipeline and it seems like that field is behaving in this manner but I was hoping for some verification/explanation of the field.
scrub_version is an internal field, use to track any pipeline schema migrations as required.
What is the comparison you want to do across environments? Do you want to compare pipelines and find changes within the pipeline or do you just want to detect if a pipeline has been updated?
Ideally, the comparison across environments should detect that a pipeline is different and then show the changes where the differences are. I initially tried to do this in a DIFF snap, but those type of changes are deep within a pipeline.
