Prompt response issue

Hi,

I used SnapGPT to ask about what snap to use. In this case, the File Operation Snap. I wanted to know if I could use a File Operation Snap to move a file from one folder to another folder in a Windows server using SMB.

I tried the answer/suggestion but the validation failed. Your thoughts, please.

Thanks.

Hello @marenas, thank you for sharing this observation. Iโ€™m lookin into it on our side. One quick question for you on the protocol - it looks like it is smb:// with only two slashes, is that right?

Hi @rsramkoski , only two slashes.

I do not think the snap will support MOVE in SMB. I believe the documentation shows that. I have done this by using two snapsโ€“file reader and file writer. I pulled the file that I wanted to move into the reader then wrote the file via the file writer. It worked fine.

Hi @heidi.andrew,

Appreciate your response.

Yes, you are right. The documentation states that the File Operation snap does not support SMB. I also did the same approach as you suggested.

What I wanted to point out is the response given by SnapGPT, which in this case is incorrect.
