Community Wish List
I wanted to create a single thread for ideas to help improve your SnapLogic Community. What else would you like to see here? Are there additional categories or subcategories we may have missed? Do you want to see some regularly scheduled posts or discussions? If so, what topics would you like to see these on? Let us know your thoughts. We’ll see what we can do and plan from there. UPDATES Added Enhancement Requests as a Category at Product Management’s request. Added “Testing, Deployment and Automation” as a subcategory of Designing Pipelines. Added the ability to mark a response to your thread as a Solution.3.6KViews0likes6CommentsCommunity Update December 2017
As we rapidly head toward the end of the year, I wanted to make you aware of some changes to the Community that are in the progress this month. Community Access Users that make up the Community will be changing slightly: Active Customers and partners have had and will continue to have full access to the Community. Prospective Customers and trial customers will be given full access to the Community for a limited amount of time, based on their POC or trial time period. After that point, access will be disabled until such time that the user becomes a customer. Avatar Icons Similar to the icon on avatars in posts to indicate SnapLogic Employees, I will be adding the following icons: Prospects will display a refresh icon Trial Users will display a half full hourglass icon Former Community members will display a red X (since we want to keep the information they have posted, but don’t want you to ask questions of someone no longer in the Community) User Cleanup Since we have no way of knowing if someone has left your company, I will be messaging each company group to verify their list of users, particularly if they have people that have not logged on in quite awhile. These changes will be implemented over the month of December as I verify company status and membership. If you believe I have flagged your company as a prospect or trial user in error, or have any other questions either message me directly in the Community or email me at snaplogic-community-manager@snaplogic.com. Like any beginning we have tremendous hopes for what this forum can achieve. Primarily we hope this can become a living asset to all our users and all our employees as we share information, best practices, development artifacts, ideas and dreams all centered around the SnapLogic product, the company and the industry! Our aspiration is to partner with all of our customers in making their experience with our products and our company the best they will ever experience. As with other communities, ours will be a reflection of how actively we all contribute. Lurking is ok, responding is terrific and contributing new content or questions is the fuel that will drive us. Looking forward to working with all of you to make the new community a huge success!2.1KViews0likes1CommentOpening up the Community
All, As we approach our 2 year anniversary of the SnapLogic Community this weekend, I wanted to give you notice that we will be making the SnapLogic Community publicly readable. You will still need a login from a verified customer, partner, or trial user domain to post in the Community; public/personal email accounts will still not be allowed. The planned date of the switch is Wednesday, April 10th at 5 pm PDT. We wanted to give our current members time to review their posts and profiles to make sure they didn’t have any company-specific data that they don’t want viewed. If you have any questions, please let me know. Diane Miller Product Trials and Community Manager1.8KViews0likes1CommentTell us a little about yourself
To help serve you better, we’d like to know more about our customers. For everyone that is not a SnapLogic employee, we’d like to know the following: What industry is your business in? What is your job title? Is your job part of the IT organization? How long have you been using SnapLogic? How many times within a month do you feel you create or modify pipelines?1.7KViews0likes0Comments
