We wanted to understand if there are any guidelines/best practices/recommendations as to when we should be using SAP pack vs SAP HANA pack. Any information on this front would be helpful! Thank you! Sudhendu Re: Are you using SAP Snap Pack? Hi Vishal, I am working on SAP migration and I see that there are two Snap Packages for SAP. The normal SAP (IDOC) and SAP HANA (Database). In order to connect to SAP HANA, do we have any guidelines/considerations as to when should we go for SAP vs SAP HANA pack. It would be helpful if you could provide some clarity on this. Thanks! Sudh Re: Using Github as a code repository for SnapLogic artifacts This is so helpful Bhavin! Thank you for jotting this down. I wil try this out and let you know how it goes. I am pretty sure it will be helpful to us as well as larger community here on SnapLogic! Large Scale Data Migration Hi People! I was wondering if anyone in the community could shed some light on enabling large scale Data Migration using SnapLogic. As part of one of our assignment, we have to conduct a large scale data migration from legacy systems to target systems. The records are in order of millions (hundred of millions in some case). Is there a best practice approach around how can we do such kind of huge migration using SnapLogic. Specially, we are looking for something to address the following steps of our Data migration strategy: Data Quality Data Cleansing Data Transformation Data Profiling Thank you! Sudhendu Re: Connecting to Team Foundation Server Do you have any more information of customers doing this using GitHub? It would be interesting to the details here. PS: We are looking for a way to get this done (SL → GitHub) Using Github as a code repository for SnapLogic artifacts Hello SL community!! Coming from a typical SOA/ESB background and working on tools like TIBCO Businessworks, Webmethods, etc. I was wondering if we have a way of using any code repository tool (Github, etc.) to store our Projects and other artifacts. I understand we have a intuitive Import/Export capabilities, this is manual and is a explicit activity to be performed by a developer. I was wondering: if we have anything (or is there a possibility) to integrate SL and GitHub. This should ensure that the Project and its assets gets checked-in into the GitHub repo without us doing any manual import-export. And that this can be further use to move code from one environment to another (code migration). I am new to the SL world, but already finding the community really helpful 🙂 All response would be of help 🙂 Thank you! Sudhendu
