    ex: $['@ID']

    $.hasOwnProperty('[\'@ID\']')

svatada. Thanks for the solution. yes it works with the escape character mentioned in the expression.

works for both $.hasOwnProperty('[\'@ID\']') and $.hasPath('[\'@ID\']').
