Difference among SAP, SAP S/4hana and SAP S/4hana cloud snap packs

Hello,

We are working on collating some information on SAP snap packs and related ones.

Can anyone from snaplogic community help explaining the differences among SAP, SAP S/4hana and SAP S/4hana cloud snap packs ?

Any kind of help is appreciated.

    SAP Has a number of different applications, each of which is addressed using a different Snap Pack:

    SAP - this is the traditional R/3, ECC application which is accessed using BAPI, RFC and IDOC interactions
    SAP S/4HAHA - This snap pack is used with the on-premises version of the SAP S/4HANA application
    SAP S/4HAHA Cloud - this is is used with the cloud/SaaS version of the SAP S/4HANA application

    And of course there is a SAP HANA Snap pack for accessing the HANA-database, including the Data Warehouse Cloud

    dmiller, koryknick, ddellsperger, tlikarish  is there any documentation how can we create IDoc in SAP S/4HANA system ? Can we use SAP S/4HANA Create snap (from the SAP S/4HANA snap pack) as a replacement for SAP IDoc Write snap that is used in the basic SAP snap pack ?
