How to identify the IP address of a Cloudplex Node?

Following are the steps to be followed whilst trying to identify the IP address of a Cloudplex Node:

  1. Login to https://elastic.snaplogic.com
  2. Go to Dashboard and change the Org to the customerโ€™s org to which their Cloudplex is associated with.
  3. Click on the Cloudplex so it shows the associated nodes and note down their names.
  4. Copy and paste the following link on the same browser instance:
  5. https://elastic.snaplogic.com/api/1/rest/slserver/ccinfo/<>
  6. Search for the node name in the browser.
  7. Look for a entry called โ€œuriโ€ and the value it has. An example of how it would look like would be http://prodxl-jcc261.fullsail.snaplogic.com:8090
  8. Remove the โ€œhttp://โ€ and โ€œ:8090โ€ from the above string and copy the rest. In this example it would be prodxl-jcc261.fullsail.snaplogic.com
  9. Open a new terminal (or command prompt if Windows) and execute the following command:
  10. ping prodxl-jcc261.fullsail.snaplogic.com
  11. Note that the IP address is returned.

You can also check the โ€œexternal_ipsโ€ array, which records all the IPs the control plane has seen for a Snaplex node.

Hi skidambi,
I have done the mentioned steps, got response but whatever url I found is - (http://ps23sl-jccs-uv04501.fslv1.snaplogic.net:8090) is not able to ping through Clorox Network(actually host not found) . I have uploaded josn for your reference. Waiting for your response.

Bear in mind that a cloudplex is an entirely replaceable node. It may not stick with that IP address. The upcoming maintenance on the 8th April will have all cloudplex nodes conform the IPs in the range: 136.179.34.0/25, as advised, all destinations should be updated with that info prior to the maintenance on that day.

Hi,

In one of our SL support ticket response weโ€™re asked to whitelist the cloudplex IP. Our organization is not ready to open all the ports. Could you please share the port which are required to be open.

Scenario is for running a pipeline including SAP Snap on CloudPlex.

Immediate help will be highly appreciated.

Best,
