Email Sender Snap - Failed to copy attachment to a temp file

Issue - With an Email Sender snap the attachment contents are not visible when the attachment file is being read from either smb:// or sftp:// location

Error Message - Failed to copy attachment to a temp file

We know credentials of the account accessing the smb/sftp file location is accurate because we can read and write to that file location using the File Reader/Writer Snaps.

Any idea as to what could be causing this problem?

Did you tried to add the username in the URL(screen below), and the password in Attachment password property in the email account? Also you must ensure that there is sufficient free local disk space in the Snaplex, since Email Sender Snap first downloads SFTP or SMB files to a temporary location in the local disk before sending them as attachments.

Yes and yes. For SMB, per the example in the screenshot below, we did add the user name in the URL and added the password in the Attachment password property field. There is plenty of space on the local disk.

I have several pipelines that use the Email Sender to attach a document to the email. These are all failing now with the error saying that “Mount failed due to logon failure or bad credentials:” This just stopped working as of 5/13. Is anyone else having this issue?
