AWS Signature for REST Get & Post
Hello, Is there a way to call an AWS API using the SnapLogic REST Get or Post snaps? There’s no option to create an AWS Signature account for REST: Hopefully I’m just missing something. I did all my testing using Postman and now I’m blocked in SnapLogic. In SnapLogic Expression Language I see there’s Digest sha256 but AWS requires HMAC so I can’t find a workaround. Alternatively is HMAC available in the Script snap or do I need to develop my own Snap for this this? Thanks!7.1KViews0likes9CommentsPipeline Execution Label in Tasks
When a task invokes a pipeline, the pipeline name appears in the dashboard. Given the parameters they accept and pass into pipelines, the tasks and pipelines can be very dynamic in nature. It would be very helpful to see a label in the dashboard to identify which objects that tasks and pipelines were operating on, given that the pipeline name would be the same for a multitude of objects. I know this enhancement request has been around for quite a long time, but I’m adding it here to keep it fresh. Apparently it’s not high on SnapLogic’s priority, but it would be an extremely helpful feature in an upcoming release.Enable editing of expression library file
When designing pipelines we have environment specific parameters (Dev, Test, Prod) in expression libraries. This renders our pipeline development independent of having to alter pipeline parameters or tasks between environments and deploys. However, the managing of the expression library files are a bit tedious. The file has to be downloaded, edited and uploaded again. It would be awesome to enable editing of the content of expression library file in the preview window. Example mockup: Of course having environment variables in a more accessible and standardised way would be the ideal solution, such as a new entity in SL manager, there could be an environment variables section in the projects as well as having the possibility to access shared env vars.3.4KViews1like3Comments
