Poll: How do you use UAT?
UAT (uat.elastic.snaplogic.com) is an environment available to our customers for the testing of their pipelines with the upcoming release in the weeks leading up to the next production release. We’d like to know: Do you systematically test your pipelines in the UAT environment before a SnapLogic release? Do you test all of them or only a subset? Do you use the UAT environment in other ways? Let us know with a reply below. If you are an existing customer and don’t believe you have access to UAT, contact your SnapLogic account manager.5.3KViews1like7CommentsPoll: Snap Reuse
This poll comes from our Product Management team: How likely are you to copy a configured Snap from an existing pipeline when building a new pipeline? (Low/Medium/High) How useful would it be to have the ability to search for a Snap with a specific configuration, such as a SQL Server - Select Snap with Table Name set to “employees”? We are considering adding a configured Snap search to the universal search capabilities where a user could find and copy an already-configured Snap and then add it to the pipeline they are designing.4.2KViews1like4CommentsPoll: Download pipeline document
Did you know the Download pipeline document feature lets you print or download a document with the details of the Snaps and configuration of a pipeline? If you use this feature, tell us in a comment below what do you use it for and how frequently do you use it? If you don’t use it, why not? It’s not as useful as it could be (needs bugs fixed or enhancements added). I forgot it was there. I have no use for it. I didn’t know it existed. With the 4.13 release, customers subscribed to Platinum support were able to delay migration of their Snaplexes for a few weeks after the platform release. We’d like like to know about your experience with this process. Had all Snaplexes upgraded at GA Had little to no issues upgrading my Snaplexes. Needed SnapLogic’s assistance with my upgrades. Waited until the June deadline and had all Snaplexes upgraded then. Did not understand this feature. Other (explain below or PM the Community Manager if you wish to communicate the information, but not publicly.) 0 voters Additionally, we’re curious: Did you use the 4 week period to go through a dev, test, stage, prod kind of progression of upgrade? Did you continue to test on UAT before the release or did you use the 4 week period on production as a replacement for testing on UAT?1.4KViews0likes0Comments
