Output Empty on HTTP Client Snap but appears later in pipeline

I have a pipeline that begins with a GET from an HTTP Client snap: 

The output between HTTP Client and Split Values is empty:

But later in my pipeline after Split Journals snap, the data appears:

Am I doing something wrong? Or did something recently change? I used to be able to see my GET response on the output directly after the HTTP Client snap.
