Pointing an existing groundplex node to UAT environment

Hi,

We were trying to point an existing groundplex node to the UAT environment (https://uat.elastic.snaplogic.com) and SnapLogic customer support recommends the following steps:

1. Uninstall RPM package in the node
2. Download UAT RPM Package
3. Install the RPM in the node
4. Download and place slpropz file under /etc

Wanted to understand why we need to uninstall and reinstall the RPM package since its an overhead. Is there another way to do this?

Reinstalling using the RPM installer is good so that any system related updates are done, like JRE updates. Otherwise, it is not required, just updating the slpropz and restarting is good enough
