Platform Enhancements
SnapLogic is introducing the following platform enhancements in the February 2018 Release:
Rolling Upgrade Window: The February 2018 Release (4.12) lays the foundation for customers with Platinum Support to be able to select their upgrade windows for their Groundplex and Snap Packs beginning with the May 2018 Release (4.13). Platinum Support customers will receive instructions on how to take advantage of this new feature in April 2018.
Recycle Bin: Allows administrators to recover accidentally deleted assets (pipelines, tasks, accounts, etc.) for a period of up to 30 days after deletion.
Pipeline Execute Optimization: After the first execution of a child pipeline with the Pipeline Execute Snap, no further communications with the Control Plane will be required, resulting in performance improvements for high frequency Pipeline Execute usage patterns.
Expression Language Performance Optimizations: The evaluation of expressions have been optimized for platform-wide performance improvements.

Thanks for your response , can you answer to my other question there - If we provide two different sftp location in source(server A) and target(Server B) but both using same file basic auth account , will the snap move the file ?
I’m asking this because I don’t know the details today about how the file operation snap works ?

Hi,
As I mentioned earlier, we do not support A-B file server transfer at this point using the file operation snap, even though the authentication account is same.
Thanks.

One thing I am doing, because it was a requirement, and had to be 100% snap logic, is I am using a source snap to read, feeding it through a router snap, because I am validating at the same time, and using a write snap to write. I am also doing this with a zip file, again, as it was a requirement. In the long run, it is probably about the fastest way to do, as I am processing it in one pass, and putting it on a faster and more private server.
Another benefit over some custom use of a single snap, script etc… is that it is visually understood, and likely easier to get metadata from,
Steve

Are there additional release notes available for UAT2? I think we’ve observed a bug fix to the Salesforce snap pack from UAT1 => UAT2, but have missed any notes that correspond in the UAT Delta documentation.

Can you clarify which bug fix are you specifically referring to here? There were updates to the Salesforce Snap Pack in UAT 1, but not UAT 2.
