We are beginning to roll out a new method of managing scheduled tasks that improves the performance and stability of scheduled tasks. The scheduling of tasks is currently managed within the control plane. Going forward, tasks scheduled to execute every 5 minutes or less will use the local Snaplex scheduler. This change will not affect how tasks are created and monitored within the Snaplogic UI.
Benefits:
- When this feature is enabled, scheduled tasks will be triggered faster as they will not be limited by the load on the scheduler running in the control plane.
- Disruptions in the control plane during the release process will not affect scheduled tasks.
